Visiting

Temporarily Closed (Risks of Bird Flu)  by appointment only. Families, schools, foodies or just friends just contact me and we can organise a time.

On tours you will feed and learn about the animals as I explain the important roles they play in keeping the farm going, their day to day care and the interactions they have with each other and the gardens, orchard and forest. Where possible depending on the seasons, visitors get to taste and learn about vegetables, fruit and some unusual bush tucker.  A tour is interactive, it's about touch, feel and taste.

The real value visitors take away learning how things grow, how they taste and the  possible health benefits. For me the greatest pleasure in these little tours is seeing children that haven't traditionally eaten vegetables and/or fruit tasting and giving them a go once they have picked their own.

A tour typically is about 1 to 2 hours.

(Sorry - this is not a petting zoo,  I don't keep young animals just for children to play with  then get rid of them as they grow up). All my animals are in specific breeding cycles and serve a purpose on the farm but depending on the time of year there is usually something small and fluffy running around.
